Objectives
Employers, through their management powers, have a number of means and tools at their disposal to monitor their employees’ activities and ensure the safety of people and property within the company. However, in order to be effective and efficient, these controls must respect employees’ fundamental rights and individual freedoms, as well as certain implementation procedures laid down both by law and by case law.
